I used to be one of those “conscious” people who would poo poo Christmas. Go into a diatribe about the “pagan” origins and how it was really about the Winter Solstice blah blah blah.

All of that is true, but for now, where I am, that’s not relevant to whether I’m going to enjoy this day or not.

When someone says “Merry Christmas” to someone and their response is “I don’t celebrate Christmas” or they start their diatribe, wouldn’t it just be easier for them to say “You have a wonderful day as well.”
