You become what you think about, if it is infused with feelings

I quote the Bible and Jesus in this instance because I think there is a very valuable lesson to be learned. If you are a Christian then I hope you find some faith and hope in Jesus’ words, if you aren’t a Christian, I hope the mention of Jesus doesn’t turn you off, and you are able to see the point. At other times I’ll quote the Qur’an, the Torah, The Emerald Tablets, other ancient texts, Dr. York, or current books, all which are trying to teach us (IMO) the same thing.
You become what you think about, if you just add some feeling into it. Nobody has become successful who didn’t first think they could, and nobody who has visualized their success and felt it, has failed. It is a law of the universe which today is called the Law of Attraction. Away with the logic, away with the arguments, etc… This you will just have to accept at face value, on faith.
As Jesus taught us:
Matthew 7:7
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
Numerology had great signance in ancient times, and 7 is a very good/powerful number, it is a number of completion. This verse is Matthew chapter 7 verse 7, it speaks to the importance of this verse.
And then there is this most powerful and wonderful verse.
Matthew 6:25-34
[25] Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
[26] Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
[27] Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
[28] And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
[29] And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
[30] Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
[31] Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
[32] (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
[33] But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
[34] Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
That is the Faith I’ve been living on for the past 2.5 years, at times when I paid for gas with quarters, dimes, nickels and pennies that I “borrowed” from one of my daughter’s piggy banks. At every point when I thought there was no way out, that I had reached the end of my rope, that I was surely doomed, a miracle would happen. EVERY SINGLE TIME.
Before I start preaching and getting happy, let me just end with this thought. Our lives are usually made up with guilt, sadness, and other negative emotions about the past, and worry and fear about the future. But if we are honest, and take a true assessments of our lives RIGHT NOW, it isn’t really all that bad. The worries and fears we have, never truly materialize, certainly not to the degree that we expect them to. The past isn’t really as terrible as we are making it out to be. Yeah, we made some mistakes, yeah, we had some bad stuff happen to us, sure, but guess what, it is in the past, let’s move on already. Learn from our mistakes, and make today a better day. All we ever have is NOW. Life is happening right now, don’t live in the past or in the future, live NOW.
Related Readings, or put another way, books I’ve read which have helped me formulate my thoughts.
The rest of the Bible. If you claim this as your book, read it cover to cover. If you don’t claim this as your book, read it cover to cover anyway, it plays a big part in our culture. Read between one and three chapters every day, you’ll be done before you know it.
